A traditional South Nguni tobacco (pipe) pouch made by the Mfengu people of South Africa in the early 20th century. The bag features a mainly white beaded background, decorated with red, blue, green, black, and orange glass beads in striped patterns typical of Nguni beadwork.
The interior is lined with cotton cloth, showing its practical use. Bags like this were used to carry tobacco and smoking pipes
