This authentic Sulawesi Songkoq is a rare ceremonial hat traditionally worn by the Bugis nobility of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The hat is hand-woven with very fine lontar palm fibres on a precise wooden mold. The hat showcases exquisite wickerwork and interwoven Islamic calligraphy.

Used during ceremonial rites by high-status individuals. The Songkoq served as a powerful symbol of prestige, cultural identity, and tradition.
