A traditional male ancestor figure from the Bamileke people of Cameroon, carved from wood and holding a drinking horn, a symbol of rank and ritual importance. The figure has a strong presence, with a rich black crusty patina from age and use in ceremonies. This early 20th-century African tribal figure stands on a custom metal display stand. It comes from the collection of Guy van Rijn.
