Spear (Ekajo) from Enggano Island, off the southwest coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. This long javelin spear dates to the 19th century.

The spear has an iron blade with a blunt point, attached to a long wooden shaft with tightly wrapped natural fibers. Two downward-pointing iron projections extend from the base of the blade, giving the weapon its distinctive appearance. The wooden shaft gradually tapers towards the end and is decorated with small carved motifs.
