Small traditional Zulu beaded apron from South Africa, made with white, red, blue and black glass beads. This type of apron, often referred to as a cache-sexe, was worn as part of traditional dress by the Zulu women.

The beadwork features a chevron design executed in brick stitch, with strong contrasting colors typical of Zulu work.

Some beads are missing.
