This antique Dayak wedding basket was made by the Iban people of West Kalimantan, Borneo. Woven from natural rattan and bark. It has a square-shaped base and a round top. It has four unique decorative patterns on the outside. This lightweight basket is tightly woven in an interlocking fashion with two layers of weaving. It is a fine example of authentic tribal art from Borneo, In excellent condition.
